About the Flavor

Amaretto by Morning gets its bold character from Assam and smoky Lapsang Souchong black teas, rounded out with marshmallow root and notes of black cherry, amaretto, and Bavarian cream.

It tastes great on its own, but a splash of milk or creamer brings the other flavors fully to life.

Almond milk takes this blend to another level, and a little brown sugar pairs especially well with the smoky cherry-amaretto profile.

Assam gives the blend body. Lapsang Souchong brings the smoke. Cherry, amaretto, and creamy notes soften the edges into something that feels less like a delicate cup of tea and more like breakfast beside the fire.

How to Brew

Use approximately 1 teaspoon of loose tea per 8 oz of water.

Heat water to 198–200°F and steep for 3–5 minutes.

Enjoy it black, or add a splash of your favorite milk or creamer.

For our favorite cup, add almond milk and a little brown sugar.

Gander Hollow Iced Amaretto Tea Latte

For one gallon:

Use 8–10 tablespoons of loose tea in a filter bag and brew with 198–200°F water.

While the tea is still hot, stir in 1½ cups of brown sugar.

Allow the tea to cool, then set aside roughly one-third and freeze it in ice-cube trays or small chunks that will fit your pitcher, dispenser, or decanter.

Refrigerate the remaining tea until cold.

Place the frozen tea cubes in your serving container first, then pour the chilled tea over them.

To serve, add a splash of your preferred creamer to taste.

Almond milk is our favorite.

Using frozen tea instead of regular ice keeps the drink cold without watering down the flavor.
